Regulatory

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the independent organisation that regulates financial services in the United Kingdom and the contents of this website are based on our understanding of the FCA rules. The section aims to assist clients who are considering buying certain financial products from us, and to explain the services being offered and how clients will pay for them. Our permitted business is advising on and arranging investments, pensions and non-investment protection, general insurance contracts and structured deposits. Clients can check this on the FCA Register at https://www.fca.org.uk/firms/financial-services-register or by contacting the FCA on 0800 111 6768. We are covered by the FSCS and clients may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business transacted and the circumstances of the claim. Further information about the compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS at http://fscs.org.uk/what-we-cover. Most types of investment business are covered up to a maximum limit of £85,000 and insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit.
